MERGED LANDSCAPE
The building wanted to be the expression of the cultural and social valence of the place where wine is produced. Functionality and esthetics merge in the design to show the building as a representation of the man everyday life: the work of man, his work environment and the natural environment.
The purpose of the project was to merge the building with the surroundings landscape: the roof is then turned into a plot of farmland cultivated with vines, interrupted, along the contour lines, by two horizontal cuts, which let light into the interior and provide the visitors with a view of the landscape
